The Fallen: Raziel (The Fallen, #1) by Kristina Douglas

The main characters seemed kind of low at some points then completely real at other. It started off with Allie going to work somewhere in Manhattan. Raziel had been there why she died to escort her to 'hell'. Then for some rash reason Raziel saves her right before she was about to fall into the flames, burning himself in the process. They of course don't like each other very well and bicker with each other, so then they have to learn to get along. Because of Raziel's choice to save her since he believed she was innocent and should not have been sent to hell.

"What's your job?" He looked blank.
"I'm a writer. A novelist."
"Maybe that's why you were going to hell." Raziel said in a wry voice.

"Remind me - what do you write?"
I didn't bother disguising my irritation. He remembered my crackpot mother, but my life's work was easily forgotten. "Old Testament mysteries. " I said with a testy voice. "They're tongue-in-cheek, of course, and a little sarcastic, but-"
"There's your answer. Uriel's as pitiless as a demon, and he has no sense of humor."

When I first started this book I had the giggles for some reason. I had found the begging incredibly funny along with cheesy. The good kind of cheesy though of course. I think this book was more written for sarcasm and with serious and dangerous moments. Where Raziel was a complete jerk or actually a nice person. His mood swings were very annoying, along with never understanding why he was all warm this minute, but the next all cold and scary.

North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley

I thought the book was kind of pointless at some points, but I feel like it was beautifully written. It made me mad when I read it at some time at either Terra's choices or her fathers rude comments at things. Jacob was able to help guide her in the right direction in knowing what true beauty is, and I'm thinking Terra would never have found it this easliy without him.  I have my thoughts that if the book went on they would eventually break up, but then get back together.

Kiss of Snow (Psy-Changeling #10) by Nalini Singh

Got a advanced copy of the book.

** spoiler alert **
The first word that come to my mind adorable.
After having them edge around answering what X psy are we finally get to know.
Learning more about Hawke's past is also nice.
Adding Lara and Walker into the mix was also a nice surprise.

Was so happy when Sascha had the baby. I really don't get why, but I flipped when the book said her water broke. Then Lucas was funny in the story so paranoid that everyone was going to hurt Sasha.
Sienna grew up a lot in the story. She still seemed somewhat like a kid at the beginning of the story, but by the end she was maturer.

Night Play (Dark-Hunter, #5) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

** spoiler alert **  If Simi says dance you dance. Can I imagine Ash doing the Macarena? No I can't because every time I think of it I can only laugh. Simi is funny and she needs to be in the books at least once.
I'm reading the books out of order, so everything pieces together when I read one book. Reading this helped more with the basics since Dark Side of the Moon was one of the first books I read.
Bride was a cute character, and I am happy that Vane got her to eat more then what it had sounded like at the begging. Nothing like eating a powdery mess, and not making a mess out of it. (I wish)
Vane sounded really powerful in the story, and you never got to see very much of the power. Just quick fights between the people looking for then. He seemed much more human by the end of the book. Starting off he knew barely anything about the human world, and everything to him was new. So then when he was faced with something like crying he didn't understand what to do.
Then the way he grew up seemed harsh and scary. His parentage just sucked because he had a fifty-fifty chance to be born a puppy or a human, and that meant a lot on how he grew. Never really knowing his other brothers, and also never getting chance to see them because of what they are.
Even adding thanksgiving to the mix added the family touch. Nothing like having a vet as your father in law when your a wolf. Even worst having him know what's going on.
i was still confused about the symbol that appears on their palms. Why did it change colors after they mated it didn't make any since to me. Any help?
