Dragon Bound

Dragon Bound (Elder Races #1)
by Thea Harrison
Genre: Paranormal Romance
My Rating 5/5

Half-human and half-Wyr, Pia Giovanni spent her life keeping a low profile among the Wyrkind and avoiding the continuing conflict between them and their Dark Fae enemies. But after being blackmailed into stealing a coin from the hoard of a dragon, Pia finds herself targeted by one of the most powerful—and passionate—of the Elder Races.
As the most feared and respected of the Wyrkind, Dragos Cuelebre cannot believe someone had the audacity to steal from him, much less succeed. And when he catches the thief, Dragos spares her life, claiming her as his own to further explore the desire they've ignited in each other.
Pia knows she must repay Dragos for her trespass, but refuses to become his slave—although she cannot deny wanting him, body and soul.

So firstly I love dragons with a passion so this is  the perfect book for dragon lovers. ;)
Pia and Dragos they're both strongly written characters with many different strengths. Some are very peticular cough cough foreshadowing there.  With secrets that some don't know it can cause life or death to them.
The story was a little slow in the middle so don't read if you haven't the patience for that. If you can make it past the slow scenes then this can be in you're top reads. The ending leaves you wanting more to read, so thank goodness that the next book is already out, and ready to read.

Kindle Edition
Published 2011

Genre: Paranoraml romance
My rating: 4.5/5

Sooo much time passes in this book. I can't say I knew how much time passed by the end of this book. It took me a minute  at one point to figure out a couple months had passed. This I believe was the first time change.
Madison was a strong and very unbelievably fast changing. One minute she's all demons aren't real the next I believe in them. I was happy to simply overlook that.
Now Nix and Micah. Woooow!  One minute Micah was as nice ish. Next you get that nice tingly guy feeling - go die in a hole! Nix you just had mood swings.
The plot and story were amazing! I loved how the plot had theses dark twist and turns, and I'm like holy snap I saw that coming, yet I didn't. Those moments were fun to read.
Now Zen and Amos they were my favorite characters just had to have my say, and I still want to poke Amos head. :)

Sports in High School

I live in a small town in the middle of no where. So stalkers out there will never find me! Living in a small town you don't have to try out for sport sports. Cheer, dance, color guard you do, but they're bleh. Hard! Awesome from what I hear. Why people at other schools have to try out we just start practicing.
My school girl track team won confrenec the last three years. That was when there were a lot of people on the team. Barely anyone signed up. I don't think it will happen this year.
Some questions:)
Do you have to try out for your sport? Is it hard.
What sports do you play?
Are sports a power at school?

Being a Teenager in One Paragraph

Being a teenager to me I have to say sucks. We sweat a lot and have to worry about people smelling us and making fun of us (damn you bullies.) We have to worry about the people we hang out with, are they the right people, do they make fun of me behind my back, are they trouble makers? Then there are the sports if you don't do some kind of sport from cheer, to color guard you are nothing. Then there is make up do you have the time to put it and do your hair, or will you have to just toss it up into a pony.
This is a perspective from me a teenage girl in a small school in the middle of no where.

Here's a question for you to think about or answer.
1)Are you proud of who you are and how you act and treat people at your school. Now or back in the stone ages. Would you do something over that you regret doing?

Awakened (The Guardian Legacy #1)

Awakened (The Guardian Legacy #1)

Paperback, 272 pages
Published August 22nd 2010 by Pill Hill Press
Most teens turn sixteen and get the license to drive, but Lil Falcon gets the license to kill demons. Orphaned as a child and raised by an eccentric grandfather, Lil is concerned with surviving high school and is unaware that she's a Guardian-a being with super powers charged with killing demons and protecting humanity. When she meets Bran, a mysterious boy with amazing abilities, his psi energy unlocks her latent powers. But Bran has a secret that can ruin their growing relationship, and the truth she discovers may destroy everything she believes in unless she finds the right balance between love and sacrifice.
I have waited so long for this book. My library finally got a physical copy of the book, but still there is the waiting for the book. The library ordered the book around the same time I got my kindle. What can I say I bought the book and I'm happy because I absoloutly loved it. I fell in love with the characters and the story.
Lil is strong and goes through a lot in 272 pages. Like a flower she blooms into her powers all coming in a shocking rush. I personally think she accepted hem way to easily... But we didn't have to listen to her wine to badly about them. That would have irritated me.
The plot was good and different from other books in this genre. The ending shocked me because I was not expecting that to happen. It ended wonderfully I must say.
Awesome things about the book. The character list and terms glossary. I'd advice against reading the character list until you've read the book because it gives away the powers everyone in the group have.  The terms list made it a lot easier because I saw something I forgot and I could just look it up.
My favorite line. "Bran you can't just take off your shirt in front f all these students. That was funny and hilarious.  All  the while I was thinking you could at my school. :)

It's Friday What Can Be Better?

Soooo I have to sing all day tomorrow. Wooooopieeedooo! Sarcasm. Choir I hope you know that I am wasting a perfectly good Saturday for you. I have to now write today's writing tonight. That's 15 pages today. Anyway I don't care because I'm on a writing spree.
I was stuck earlier at school but here I am at a big moment. Finally got past the setting of the plot and can now truly start the story. *Happy dance!*
My goal for writing right now is to use more desriptive words to make the images better visible. My writing is getting better and you can tell that my writing style is becoming better.

That's all for today.
Elf signing out.

A quickie post

So about a month into 2012 I figured out what I'll be trying to do. A little on the late side but better now then never.

10 pages on weekends.
5 pages on week days.
For a total of 50 pages of week. Dragon Eyes will be finished.
3 book reviews a month.

That's about all I got for this post. Quick wasn't it?
